I created this blog after I retired from spending 12 years as a stenographer for the Ohio state courts. I learned things I had never expected to learn and developed a real interest in the way the legal system works at different levels. So why start a blog rather than just enjoy my retirement? Because young people today spend more time consuming information on the internet than they do with any other media. It is my hope that this blog will serve as a useful tool for passing on an interest in the legal system to the next generation. Here you can read about some of the most interesting cases ever to come through the Ohio courts. Curated and compiled by yours truly; a former court reporter and law enthusiast. From common pleas cases from all 88 counties to supreme court rulings. This blog is my attempt to create a space where people can keep their finger on the pulse of the Ohio state court system.
